How to Manually Add Commissions, Fees, and Taxes

Why Would I Need to Edit Execution Costs?

Some broker exports do not include execution costs such as:

  • Commissions
  • Exchange fees
  • Taxes
  • Swap charges

When this happens, you can manually update these values directly inside TradeBB.

This allows your reports and net performance calculations to better reflect your actual trading results.

Before You Begin

Manual execution editing is useful when:

  • Your broker export does not contain commission information.
  • Fees were charged separately from the trade history file.
  • You need to correct imported execution costs.
  • You want your Net P&L calculations to include actual transaction costs.

Step 1: Open the Trade Details

Navigate to your trades list and click any trade you want to update.

This opens the Trade Details page.

Step 2: Locate the Executions Section

Scroll down to the Executions section.

You will see all executions that make up the trade.

Then click the Edit button.

Click Edit to modify execution-level details.

Step 3: Enter Commissions and Other Costs

A popup window will appear.

For each execution, you can manually update:

  • Commission
  • Fee
  • Tax
  • Swap

Enter the correct values and click Save.

Update the execution costs and click Save to apply your changes.

What Happens After Saving?

TradeBB automatically recalculates the affected values, including:

  • Transaction Costs
  • Adjusted Cost
  • Adjusted Proceed
  • Net P&L
  • Performance reports

The updated values will immediately appear throughout the platform.
