How to import your TradingView trades

TradingView lets you export the History tab of its trading panel as a CSV file. You upload that file to TradeBB. This works for live broker accounts connected to TradingView and for paper trading.

Export your history from TradingView

  1. Open any chart and the trading panel at the bottom, then go to the History tab
  2. Click the three dots on the tab and make sure all columns are shown
  3. Click the broker name on the left of the panel (or the TradingView name, for paper trading) to open its menu
  4. Choose Export data…, select History or Orders, and click Export

TradeBB reads both. The file downloads as a CSV named after the account and the tab, for example:

  • think-markets-order-history-all-2026-05-28T13_02_39.517Z.csv — History, from a broker account
  • paper-trading-order-history-all-2026-08-01T15_13_25.574Z.csv — History, from paper trading
  • paper-trading-orders-all-2026-07-15T00_07_59.523Z.csv — Orders, from paper trading

Commissions are in the export, so they come in with your trades.

Upload it to TradeBB

  1. In TradeBB, open Import Trades
  2. Choose your TradingView account, or add one
  3. Upload the CSV

Tips

  • Export regularly — older fills drop out of TradingView's History panel over time, so export weekly rather than trying to pull a long history at once
  • Paper trading in its own account — upload paper history to a separate TradeBB account so it never mixes with real money
  • Backtests in their own account too — a Strategy Tester List of Trades export also uploads (its file is named after the strategy, exchange, symbol and date, like MyStrategy_SPCFD_SPX_2026-07-01.csv); give it its own account, named after the script

Troubleshooting

I can't see "Export data…".

It's in the menu under the broker name on the left side of the trading panel, not on the History tab itself.

Some columns are missing from my file.

Before exporting, use the three dots on the History tab to show all columns.

My broker connects to TradeBB directly.

If your account is on MT4, MT5, cTrader or Interactive Brokers, you can connect the broker instead of exporting from TradingView. See How to connect your MT5 account.
